Nice. I run a Remington milspec 308. Haven’t yet gone for the 1km shot but can hit 700m with factory ammo on first round so happy with that. Wish I could go 338lap but very hard to licence in WA so will settle for 300win next rifle.

I live in the same area and am interested in the house you have built.
Was it a kit home or converted shed?
It looks great, you mentioned double walls or something similar, did you put extra insulation in?
It gets bloody cold here in winter.

The cabin was a kit from a garage company. The main frame is doubled up, back to back, to support the roof during periods of snow. All the walls are lined with insulation batts. The roof has an insulation blanket and the ground floor bedrooms also have insulation batts above the ceiling.
