Making Small Shot & Round Ball for Muzzle-Loaders

Original 18th century small shot from a mould found in the James River.

Author's copper lead ladle which he carries in his shot pouch. Ball & shot can be remoulded from spent lead in long term wilderness living.

In the field/wilderness you can cut shot from the moulding sprues.
