Any chance that a cooking related thread could be included.I'm sure that it would be interesting and helpful, particularly cooking with food that is part of a stockpile, garden or foraged game and wild plants,Thankyou

G'day, Just to get the ball rolling, check out 'Greg(GREIG) Caigou' on YouTUBE and have a look at his 'Solo Hunter Instructional'.He has a neat part in this video on making DIY dehydrated meals.Very cheap, very easy and probably very tasty. At the moment I'm drying out the Chille Con Carne he demonstrated.Cheers RG

Ate the Chilli Con Carne along with the dehydrated rice on my last trip.It reconstituted beautifully after 10 minutes soaking in cold water.Don't overdo
the water though! It tasted fine and was filling enough, but lacked a little flavour so next time I will add more.Probably took about 10 mins on a low
simmer while constantly stirring to heat evenly and not stick.Ended up vac sealing the rice and meat mix separately but combined would be fine.
Next one to try is Chow Min Mince using the same method :) .Regards,RG
