Happily I don't have a mobile account and the phone I have hasn't been turned on for about 8 years now.

To my mind you missed one small thing in the survey guys.

Do you have a strategy in place to protect key devices from EMP?

A microwave makes for a reasonably cheap and portable Faraday cage.

Stephan

Interested in hearing from anyone who has built a Faraday cage. Did read some time ago of a paint that can be used as a EMR blackout inside for bedrooms etc. Was I dreaming or is this real? Thanks

In a shtf scenario eg.nuclear or emp none would be worth worrying about. Personally I don't have any battery reliable items except torch and even then i have a wind up radio - torch as back up. This is only for use in the first month worst case scenario I'm on foot.
