Putting The Truck To The Test.

Post by Keith » Mon Mar 12, 2018 1:42 pm

Well I took the truck on its first bush trip since purchase to cut firewood. There was plenty of fallen trees, but they were a tangle! I had to take time to check what was holding which up & what limbs were stressed. We got to the stage where we had to pull stuff down to make it safe, so I hooked up a chain & put the truck to work. It did a good job with no effort.
When it came to loading the cut wood it soon became obvious that we needed some way of protecting the chainsaws against logs falling on them in transit. So today & secured a tool box in the back of the truck to take 2 chainsaws, fuel & oil.
Now where can I fit that gun rack?

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference.
