Fishing with a difference.

Great to carry small amount of fishing gear in pack but should study tides and fish traps and a simple spear at location is also handy .And a good pair of polarized sunglasses can make a huge difference to spotting fish.

I agree. Carrying fishing gear is a must, also knowing how to trap fish in man made tidal pools and hoarding fish into traps using weaved nets is important. A lot of preppers are looking at inland locations, so a good knowledge of salt and freshwater fishing is also very important.

Oh so true fellas....All sorts of tricks like how to catch yabbies on a piece of string tied to a bone or the likes.

Not with grenades like my father inlaw during WW2 up in the islands....he had a piece of coral lodged in behind his ear all his life...lol.
